“I, I never seen anything like this before. I’m not sure… ” replies The Con Edison Guy to the odious Walter Peck’s request to shut down the Ghostbusters’ containment facility. It may have been his only line in the movie (along with a mouthed “oh shit” when the unit blows), but friends, actions speak louder than eleven words. In this case The Con Edison Guy (aka Larry Dilg in his third and final movie role) shutting down the containment facility drops a paranormal bomb of Sumarian proportions on New York City. This guy, pretty much single handedly, kicks off the chain of events that leads toward the coming of Gozer. Yes he’s that big’a deal. Luckily, thanks to the Ghostbusters, the Con Ed Guy didn’t have all of us Shuvs and Zuuls roasting in the depths of the giant Slor that day.
